Wrapping Up “Looking Down: Penland School”

5 balloons + a tank and a half of helium + 6 days = 11,000 photos of the Penland Campus for the “Looking Down” piece. …This image is where the inspiration for this project all started – the carefree mown path that winds around the Penland School Meadow.  The photographing of Penland’s campus is probably 98% done.  I’ll come back in the fall and winter when the landscape is much different.  But now it’s time to move on to more time lapse photography  for “Looking Up” and to get to Raleigh to finish photographing the North Carolina Museum of Art campus.
